Vergil Student Information System

Vergil Registration and Enrollment - Launched February 2025

Starting with the Summer and Fall 2025 terms, Administrative Registration and Roster and Wait List management will take place in Vergil.

Vergil Registration and Enrollment includes: 

  • New Registration Platform for Students, seamlessly integrated with Vergil Course Search. 
     
  • Upgraded Rosters and Wait List Management tools for Faculty and Course Administrators.
     
  • Enhanced Vergil Course Search, along with improved Student Planner and Schedule features. 
     
  • A brand-new Administrative Student Registration Platform.
     

What This Launch Means for You and Students:

  • Students will begin to use the new Registration platform beginning with Summer and Fall 2025 registration.
  • Students will complete all remaining registration transactions for Spring 2025 in SSOL, including Post Add/Drop approval requests, Summer B-term registration, and P/D/F elections.
  • All Administrative Registration transactions will be managed in Vergil going forward. (Note: training is required to receive access.)
     

What is NOT Changing:

  • Course Grading will continue in SSOL.
  • Student Records management (e.g., Standing, Enrollment Status, Registration Appointments, Holds, Reporting) will remain the same.
  • Billing and Tuition Assessment will be part of the next phase of the SIS Replacement Project and will continue as is. 
  • Reporting options are unchanged.

Vergil Registration Roles and Permissions

Access to functions in the Vergil Registration and Enrollment System will be dependent upon each user's Role(s) and Permission(s). As a result, training is required to acquire a Role/Permission within the Vergil Registration Engine. Here you can review a list of Core and Tangential Roles along with their aligned Permissions.
