Bulk Schedule and Inventory Operations
Course Management contains Bulk Operations Tools that allow Schools and Departments to upload, download, and update large quantities of courses in their Course Inventory or Class Schedule. Each tool provides CSV. file templates that users can download to enter their course information to ensure that their class updates and uploads are successful.

Below are the instructions on how to utilize the Bulk Operations tools in the Course Inventory and Class Schedule.
Course Inventory
This section allows you to download Courses in the Course Inventory owned by your School or Department. Please note that if you do not specify a class status or subject, your download file will contain courses across all subjects and statuses under your program.
- On the Course Management Main Menu page, Select the "Bulk Schedule and Inventory Operations" to access the Bulk Upload page.

Upon clicking on the Bulk Inventory and Operations button, you will be directed to a page with actionable steps to:
- 'Download class Schedules'
- 'Upload Classes'
- 'Download and Upload Courses'
2. Click on 'Download and Upload Courses' to download a .CSV file of your school or department's active and/or courses.

Once you have completed the action above, you will be redirected to the Bulk Inventory Operations page. From here, you must select the 'Owner' of the courses you would like to download from the Course Inventory. There are also optional filters such as the Courses' status and subject which you can use to download more specific courses.

Class Schedule
The Upload Classes section allows users to create or update class schedules for their Semester Schedule. This page also contains a sample file detailing the necessary class information for a successful Bulk Upload. Users should download and complete the file before uploading their schedules. Information on how to upload class schedules to the semester schedule as well as reference pictures are located below.
How to Create New Class Schedules:
- Click on 'Create' to access the section of the tool that allows you to upload new class schedules to the Semester Schedule.
- Click on 'Download Sample File' to download the Class Upload template file for new class Schedules. The file contains the fields where users can enter the class information required for a successful upload.
- Click on the 'Upload Classes CSV' button to upload your file. As noted, only .CSV files are supported by the Bulk Upload Tool, which means other file types will not accepted or processed.
- If you would like to add a new file or notice an error, click on the 'Reset' button to restart the Class Upload process(optional).
Once you have uploaded your file, the system will validate the information and confirm whether your classes have been successfully uploaded to the Term Schedule.
WARNING: Please do not delete the prefilled cells in the Template file. Deleting any of the preset columns or leaving the cells empty will result in a failed update. However you can edit the information in the sheet and add additional class information in new columns.

Class Schedule Template for New Uploads:

This section allows you to download existing Class Schedules from your School or Department's Semester Schedule. Please note that if you do not specify a term, your download file will contain all of your program's available classes across multiple terms.
To download existing Class Schedules:
- Enter your School/Dept/program name in the owner section.
- Select the term of interest from the dropdown list (optional).
- Click on the 'Download Class Schedule text and Icon to download the class schedule to your device.

This process allows you to Bulk update the information for classes already on your School or Department's Semester Schedule. Please note that editing the 'FALSE' value for column that contains it will activate that particular aspect of the class.
How to Update Class Schedules:
- Click on 'Update' to access the section of the tool that allows you to upload updated class schedules to the Semester Schedule.
- Click on 'Download Sample File' to download the Class Upload template file for class Schedules update. The file contains the fields where users can enter the class information required for a successful upload.
- Click on the 'Upload Classes CSV' button to upload your file. As noted, only .CSV files are supported by the Bulk Upload Tool, which means other file types will not accepted or processed.
